Emergency First Aid At Work Training
On Friday 19 th May 2023, ‘Big John Direct’ training services provided Emergency First Aid at Work training for 10 of our employees at our Telford Park, Clacton on Sea site.
Due to the nature of our work i.e. Construction and Working with Utilities, it is of utmost importance that all of our operatives can assess the nature of work related injuries and respond at the earliest with treatment, or to prevent deterioration following an injury.
Areas covered by the trainer were:
- Assessment of wounds
- First response
- Shock
- Resuscitation
- Wounds and bleeding
- Choking
- Seizures
- Burns
- The removal of foreign objects.
The training also covered the use of defibrillators.
Twenty Twelve Civils provides regular First Aid and refresher training for all of its field team members and staff every three years.
