New Vehicles, New Drivers
Twenty Twelve Civils Ltd has recently purchased two new 18 tonne flatbed vehicles as part of its fleet upgrade.
The Euro 5 vehicles, equipped with uprated Hiab Cranes, are the workhorses for removing and installing highway structures and street furniture throughout the UK.
With extended flat-bed bodies, these vehicles are able to carry Shelters, Signage, Kiosks and Digital Display units, as well as bagged bulk materials, for the in-situ construction of foundations and all permanent reinstatement. At the same time removing the old structure(s) and old foundation material to re-cycling.
All vehicles are F.O.R.S. compliant, with additional mirrors, under-run bars, visual and audible warning for cyclists and rear-view cameras, now a pre-requisite for many larger city based contracts.
To operate these vehicles Twenty Twelve Civils Ltd is training four new drivers in 2018, from within its established workforce, to enable all LGV vehicles to be manned by two qualified drivers at all times.
This will maintain Twenty Twelves capability to work anywhere within the UK, mobilising at short notice, while maintaining full E.U. hours and working time compliance for mobile workers.
